Adding Friends to Trips

Guess what? Trips you make on Pilot can be shared with whoever you want! To invite friends to your trip follow these steps below!

1. Navigate to the “Trips” page, and select the trip you want to invite friends to (or click to create a trip).

2. In the top right-hand corner of the screen, click the “Invite Friends” button.

3. In the pop-up that appears, there will be two ways to invite your friends to the trip.

4. You can either type their email into the box and hit the Invite button, or you can send them a link by clicking Copy and then pasting it wherever your friend can receive it (ex. email, sms, messenger, etc).

That’s it! Your friend just needs to click that link and they’re in.

Interacting with Friends

When a friend has accepted the invitation to collaborate with you on your trip, their photo (or initials if they have not added a profile photo) will appear in the top right corner.

At this point, all friends who appear in the top right corner have the ability to add and change things in your trip itinerary.
