The Files tab in your itinerary is a powerful way for you and your tripmates to share and access documents, photos, and other files—all in one place, without ever leaving Pilot. If you have edit access to a trip, you’ll also be able to access these files offline in the Pilot app.
While in the trip planner, you will see the "Files" tab in the upper left bar.
From this tab, you can see all the files you uploaded, and you are able to search for files using the search bar in the top left.
If you have not yet added any files, you can upload a file using the "Upload" button in the top right. You can select whichever file you want to add to your itinerary (ex., Boarding passes, hostel confirmation, activity tickets, screenshots, etc).
You can also click the three dots on the rightmost side of the file and choose to rename or delete it.
If you click on the middle area next to a file under the "Attached To" section, you can select a Transportation, Accommodation, or Activity item that you would like to add the file to in your itinerary. This will help you stay organized and keep all your files attached to the relevant item!
Pilot will automatically import any flights, bookings, and reservations into your planner when it detects relevant information in the file! This will appear in the Detected Details section to the right of the file name. You can click the link to see what the file is related to.
Once in this window, you can drag and drop the relevant items into your itinerary to add them to your planner!
Viola, you're done!
