How do I set up internet on my Pilot eSIM on an iPhone?

If you cannot connect your Pilot eSIM to the internet after installation, make sure you’ve followed the eSIM installation instructions available in your Pilot account.

Where can I find connection instructions?

You can find them in your Pilot account:

  • Go to the menu icon (☰ or ⋮) > Your Purchases > your eSIM > View Installation > Step 2/2 - Access Data

Step 1: Enable your eSIM for data

  1. Open Settings

  2. Select Cellular (or Mobile Data)

  3. Select your eSIM

  4. Toggle Turn On This Line if it’s not enabled

  5. Go back to Cellular/Mobile Data and select your eSIM as the data line

Step 2: Connect to the supported network

  1. Open Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data)

  2. Select your eSIM

  3. Select Network Selection

  4. Turn OFF Automatic

  5. Select the network shown in the eSIM installation instructions in your Pilot account

Step 3: Update APN settings (if required)

  1. Open Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data)

  2. Select your eSIM

  3. Select Cellular Data Network (or Mobile Data Network)

  4. Enter the APN exactly as shown in your Pilot account

  5. Leave the other fields blank

  6. If the APN is set automatically, no changes are needed

Step 4: Enable Data Roaming (if required)

  1. Open Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data)

  2. Select your eSIM

  3. Toggle Data Roaming ON or OFF as instructed in eSIM installation instructions in your Pilot account
